In 1897, thousands of centuries-old ivory, wood and bronze artefacts were stolen from Benin City in Nigeria, during the British expedition led by Harry Rawson. Today European museums are looking to return Benin Bronzes to Nigeria which raises the question of how the country wants to exhibit this artistic heritage.
