Covid is spreading mainly in overcrowded disadvantaged neighborhoods. The measures, very strict, are saturating the hospital system of the territory. The new Fanchang Hospital, built with Chinese assistance, currently has more than 50,000 patients. Health authorities, too, have different opinions. Some advocate the abolition of mass testing and say a complete lockdown of the city is impossible, while others say Hong Kong should take inspiration from the mainland.
