Swiss singer Stefanie Heinzmann is one of the few female talent show contestants in the country to have made a successful career as a musician and broken into the international music scene. Her first album Masterplan, released in 2008, went gold. She has performed frequently, worked in the studio with the famous pop singer Lionel Richie and received a host of awards, including the prestigious German music prize ECHO.
