What is News? (1/5)A Slice of the Moon in Cologne
3 min
Disponible jusqu'au 15/02/2026
It is possible to walk on a piece of the moon in Cologne, Germany. The LUNA project, developed by the European Space Agency, covers 700 square metres and mimicks the surface of the moon – a reproduction as realistic as possible, with rocks, craters and tonnes of sand. It’s an ideal training ground for astronaut Thomas Pesquet and his colleagues.
