Gibraltar — a tiny 7 km² British enclave at Spain’s southern tip. Every day, thousands of Spaniards cross its border to work. But since Brexit in 2020, free movement and other key issues have become tangled in red tape. Now, a new deal struck three months ago between the EU and the UK could finally ease tensions on this long-contested rock — disputed for over three centuries.
