“One in, one out”: France and the United Kingdom against illegal immigration

London and Paris agree on a “one in, one out” policy to limit illegal immigration. Each refugee sent back to France would be replaced by another legally welcomed into the United Kingdom. This measure has been contested by several NGOs, who doubt that it will have a real deterrent effect on women and men who have already traveled thousands of kilometers.
