Prix de Lausanne

The Prix de Lausanne was created to identify, promote and support the most promising dance talent among international youth. Entrants compete for places at some of the world's leading dance schools.

The prestigious Prix de Lausanne brought together 87 young dancers from across 19 countries for its 2024 edition. These promising young artists aged between 15 - 18 competed to gain entry into the best international dance schools.

Candidates received four days of classes and coaching led by leading figures in classical and contemporary dance with a selection day concluding this intensive period of training. Only the best have made it through to these finals.

The competition is drawing to a close after five intense competition days. The waning group of contestants still in the running face the jury and its chair Darcey Bussell one final time.

It's selection time for the 17 and 18 year-old contestants in the 52nd Prix de Lausanne. This is the the culmination of four intense days of training- with only the final left for those that make it through.
