In August 2022, a painting with the French title "Théâtre d'opéra spatial" won first prize at the Colorado State Fair. It caused a stir as it was created using AI software. The World in Images analyses the issue of authorship of the work with its creator Jason Allen and art historian Paul Ardenne.
