In the tropical rainforests of the Amazon, many species of bee produce honey, some of which are stingless (Meliponini). In Peru, César Delgado is a specialist in these bee species and sees their importance in managing and preserving the Amazon rainforest, vital to the planet. This film follows his research team on an expedition to a remote area of the Peruvian Amazon home of the Asháninka.
