In France, nearly 20,000 teenage girls are said to be in the thrall of pimps who are sometimes barely older than they are. With seduction and declarations of love, these young men emotionally manipulate their ‘girlfriends’ to use them as prostitutes. This report looks at the worrying phenomenon in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
