Elections in Greenland took place on 11 March. Greenland is the world’s largest island and is located in the Arctic. It has recently caught the attention of US President Donald Trump, who wants to take control of the territory and its vast amounts of natural resources. But the country is aiming to become economically independent and to do so, is turning towards sustainable tourism.
