Denmark: a controversial ‘anti-ghetto’ plan

During its six-month EU Council Presidency, Denmark plans to prioritize more effective management of migration to Europe. Within the EU, it is regarded as one of the most restrictive countries on immigration. The Social Democratic government of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has declared a goal of zero asylum seekers and is also pursuing a tough stance on integration.
