Nitrogen crisis in the Netherlands

The Netherlands hold the European record for exporting agricultural produce. But on the flipside, the fertiliser used is too high in nitrogen content. For a few years now, the justice system has therefore imposed stricter rules. Farmers need to reduce their nitrogen emissions and many who haven't been able to have had to close up shop.
